About[]

The World Supermen Federation (世界超人同盟 Sekai Chōjin Dōmei) (WSF) Chairman and pupil of God Von Erich. A parody of Ed "The Sheik" Farhat. He is an alien that came to Earth from Planet Sheik in order to invade Earth.[1] He resides primarily in Iran, but has a nomadic lifestyle, and can change his form into huge proportions.[1] He is related to Farhat, the president of the World Superhuman Alliance.[1] In the anime he is depicted as Edith Harrison's minion.

The kaiju form is a parody of Ed "The Sheik" Farhat who first appears in the first serialized chapter as one of the invading aliens. He later reappears and attacks Tokyo, prompting Kinnikuman to go off and fight him despite not being Japan's official hero anymore. This in turn prompts Terryman to quit his mercenary ways and fight purely for the sake of justice. He bears the same name as a character who appears during the American Tour Arc, but it is unknown whether or not they are connected in any way.

Story[]

Kinnikuman[]

1st Kaiju Extermination Arc[]

Kaiju Form[]

In 1979, seven space aliens come to attack Earth. [4] Kinnikuman is the only available superhero, and the Earth Defence Force show Kinnikuman a slideshow that features Sheikian. The Earth Defense Force Chief offers the assumption based on racial stereotypes that - as the Kaiju rides a camel and wears certain clothes - that he must be Middle-Eastern. At midday the monsters reveal that they do not want to attack someone they consider so weak, and thus they return to their home planets and refuse to fight Kinnikuman. [4]

Later, a boy reveals his father was kidnapped by Sheikian. [5] Terryman refuses to help him, as he does not have enough money, and so Kinnikuman leaves to help the boy's father in his stead. The fact that Kinnikuman would ignore all rules, to help a small boy, inspires Terryman to become a true hero and fight for justice instead of money. Sheikian can be seen in the distance, as Kinnikuman fights him and Terryman runs towards him to join the fight. It is uncertain what happens to Sheikian in the aftermath. [5]

American Tour Arc[]

Human Form[]

Sheik Seijin first appears on a large screen, alongside his fighter Skull Bozu and the World Superman Council chairman: Edith Harrison. [6] He announces that he has joined forces with Edith to defeat Kinnikuman, but the two argue about who will fight against Kinnikuman first. They then leave the screen in anticipation of the fights. [6]

Later, during Kinnikuman's exploits and defeats of WSC and WSF members, Sheik Seijin begins to suspect that there is a conspiracy at play, perhaps caused by the World Superman Association. [7] He later realises that Channelman is Kinnikuman, working for the WSC, and that his suspicions were correct. [8] He fakes that he believes Channelman is not Kinnikuman, in order to later expose him in a public manner. [9] He then imprisons Kinnikuman while they wait for a match to take place between him and Robin Mask. [10]

After Robin Mask is defeated, the WSF assumes the championship belt, but Kinnikuman and Edith Harrison state that his side have not rightfully earned the belt. [11] God Von Erich appears to declare a tag tournament shall take place to determine its rightful owner. [11] Sheik Seijin is mostly seen in the background, as he helps his team and directs them from the stands or during training. [12] He is not seen again once The Machineguns defeat his team and unify the three American organisations. [13]

Anime Differences[]

In the anime he is seen riding a Tauntaun. He is also shown that, instead of been a leader of a third association, he was just Edith assistant.
